Accessibility statement
Access belongs in every experience.
Axolotls.com is working toward an inclusive marketplace and learning library that people can navigate, understand, and use with a wide range of devices and assistive technologies.
Accessibility is ongoing work
Design, content, and commerce all matter.
We aim to follow widely accepted accessibility practices and improve the site through testing, feedback, and remediation. New pages use semantic HTML, clear headings, visible focus, and responsive layouts.
Perceivable
Text alternatives, readable contrast, scalable type, and information that does not depend on color alone.
Operable
Keyboard access, visible focus, large targets, skip navigation, and reduced-motion support.
Understandable
Plain language, predictable navigation, descriptive links, and clear errors or instructions.
Features in the current design
Built into the site-18 page system.
The rebuilt homepage and guide pages share an accessibility-focused component system.
- A skip link leads directly to main content
- Pages use one visible first-level heading and ordered subheadings
- Interactive controls have visible keyboard focus
- Touch targets meet or exceed 44 pixels where practical
- Layouts avoid horizontal scrolling at narrow widths
- Motion is reduced when the device requests it
- Images use meaningful alternatives or are hidden when decorative
Tell us where access breaks
Specific reports help us fix barriers.
When reporting a problem, include the page address, what you were trying to do, the device and browser, and any assistive technology used. Do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
We want the task to be completable.
Use the contact page for accessibility feedback. If a marketplace or account action is blocked, describe the action and we will work to provide an accessible alternative.
